11 QUESTIONS YOU HAVE REGARDING THE POSITION, BUT ARE AFRAID TO ASK.

Will I have fun?
We guarantee it. Our team is anything but boring! We want you to be excited coming to work, hungry for what the day brings! It’s our goal to prepare you with real world experience that compliments what you’re learning in the classroom. Did we mention we have a foosball table AND a popcorn machine?

Does working for a small start-up company limit my networking opportunities?
Not at all. We feel that small business environments can make for a great experience. You’ll be exposed to situations and opportunities here that you wouldn’t have access to in corporate offices. Beyond that, our team of employees has an extensive network of vendor & client relationships, which we look forward to introducing you to. Your long term success is our goal.

Will I have an opportunity to grow in the position?
Absolutely. We want students to continue to learn and progress throughout the internship, so you feel prepared & confident to tackle real-world challenges that have the potential to turn into great opportunities. We try to cater the projects to your individual strengths and interests, as well as having regular check-ins to make sure you’re supported and challenged.

What type of office atmosphere should I anticipate?
The office is laid back; we want our employees to be comfortable. Music is encouraged, and don’t be surprised if you see dogs roaming around the grounds. We feel that a laid back atmosphere invites a creative work environment. Unless you’re meeting with clients, dress code is casual, but business appropriate. Jeans are welcome!

Will I be excluded from some aspects of the business?
We want you to touch all areas of the business and encourage you to raise your hand at any point. If you have an idea, speak up! We value your input and are here to help you reach your career goals.

What is the time commitment?
This position could be either full-time or part-time, depending on the intern’s availability. A minimum commitment of 24 hours per week is required.

What will my day-to-day responsibilities look like?
At i76 solutions, no day is typical. We have a fast-paced office and at times, priorities can change quickly. From social media management to media plan development and even analytics, our goal is to expose you to all aspects of what it means to work at a marketing & technology agency. To give you some kind of backbone, we will be sure to give you a direct manager who will have weekly meetings with you for consistency and mentorship.

Will on the job training be provided, or will I be thrown in the deep end?
Not without floaties! We will provide as much support and training as needed. Don’t be afraid to ask questions; that’s why we are here. We will do our best to set you up in each instance, but you will get more when you take initiative, and act proactively – our doors are always open! In a perfect world, the student will be given great autonomy to work independently. We do not micro-manage.

Post college, will i76 Solutions consider hiring me?
Without question. We will look to reward and hire students that have already invested in our organization. If the shoe fits, we’d be happy exploring this conversation with you, and have done so in the past!

Will I have to eat lunch by myself every day?
Not unless eating alone is something you like to do. It’s a small office, with a team-oriented mentality. While at times, we’re guilty of eating at our desks, brainstorming sessions are our favorite. Coffee/donut breaks and going out for team lunch are required!

What type of business culture exists at i76 Solutions?
At i76 Solutions, we take pride in our accomplishments and recognize the hard work that is put into them. We bring unique solutions to our clients, and help grow their businesses to their utmost potential. At the end of the day, we’re a bunch of tech-savvy, music-loving, Philly sports fans who share a passion for creativity and strategic development in the media.
